Hi, I’m Lee Ann Lamb—certified garden coach, Advanced Master Gardener, and founder of Storied Garden.

A lot of the vegetables on our table don’t come from a farmers’ market or grocery aisle. They grow just steps from our kitchen door. But I’ll be honest—I didn’t start out as a natural gardener. My first gardens were disasters. With encouragement from my parents and a lot of persistence, I discovered how rewarding it is to harvest food that’s fresher, healthier, and kinder to the earth.

Over the years, I’ve become an Advanced Master Gardener who practices organic methods and understands the challenges of growing in central Indiana. I’ve seen—and tackled—soil issues, pest pressures, and plant diseases of many kinds. That experience means I can help you meet them head-on with practical, sustainable solutions. My volunteer work with horticulturists at Newfields has also expanded my knowledge and given me fresh design inspiration that I love bringing into kitchen gardens.

That’s why I founded Storied Garden: to help others skip the trial-and-error and experience the joy of growing their own food. I’ve learned the hard lessons so you don’t have to. My goal is to guide you toward more garden wins, fewer frustrations, and a space that truly fits your life.

I’m Lee Ann, an experienced gardener who grew up enjoying (and occasionally helping in) my parents’ vegetable and flower gardens. I’m at my happiest when I’m digging in the dirt or cooking meals made with the fruits of my kitchen garden.

Before starting Storied Garden, I was educated at Purdue and worked as an art director and in marketing and design for 30+ years.

My garden has been a joyful place where my children and parents have come together to laugh and tell stories.
